Alone

I walk alone down this empty road,
I look for someone to hold.
I find no one,
And I stay alone.
I need a friend,
So this lonely torture will end.
I've been here as long as I can remember,
Ever since my birth in December.
This road is long and winding,
To it I am binded.
I know what to expect,
Having no friends and being a reject.
It swerves and curves,
And brings upon you a curse.
You feel like nobody wants you,
Because it is true.
They left you alone and abandoned.
From their warm houses you are banned.
They mock you constantly,
And you do nothing but weep daily.
This routine repeats itslelf,
Until you have no more confidence in yourself.
You want to just give up,
Thirsty for friendship with an empty cup.
Your throat becomes parched and dry,
And you wonder why you try.
Things are always gonna stay lonely and painful.
