DayDreamer

I seat in class,
The back corner from you,
When the teacher calls,
I'm off in the blue,
When people talk to me,
I ignore them all,
Because inside I'm drifting off,
I often stare in deep space,
Not knowing of my surroundings in any case,
I try my best to pay attention,
But I'm digressing away from any submissions,
You often see on the ground,
Staring in the sky,
Nowhere to be found,
I go all day without making a sound,
Because of my attention,
Somewhere unfound,
You wonder why I'm like this everyday,
Curiousity stirs when I come your way,
You think I'm weird,
You think I'm strange,
You try to avoid me everyday,
But truth be told I like it this way,
I'm a DayDreamer and that's okay.
