You breathed your first breath,
Opening those beautiful
Chocolate brown eyes.
Appearing so adorable
With your babyish nose.
Such a delightful baby
Who over the years,
Slowly but surely,
Was turning into the charming person
You are today.
I can gaze at you for hours,
Days.
Never becoming disinterested
At the sight I see.
Your brown flowing hair,
How it falls on your head.
Your compulsion to brush it
Any chance you are able to
Is amusing.
Your lips-
the way they protect that astonishing smile-
You never show.
The direction your eyebrows lay,
Never showing mayhem.
And your nose-
that nose with the freckle on the left nostril.
The petit one that wiggled so adorably-
Oh how I love that nose.
I would devour you.
Nom nom on your pale skin.
My actions should flatter you
(considering I prefer not eating beautiful creatures such as yourself)
My love for you,
My feelings,
They are ineffable.
Just saying
"you make me happy"
Is not enough.
You make me more than
"happy."
I cannot imagine my life without you.
I would have no life
Because you are my life.
You are what I live for now.

My sunshine on a cloudy day
My best friend
