The Hopeless Fool

You came along one day and said to me,
"I hate your freaking guts, so please go die."
With bright blue eyes, more blue than skies than sea.
I fell in love with you, I don't know why.

I followed you around and creeped you out
Your friends all laughed at me and called me "Fool!"
"You're so damn weird, you freak!" they'd cry and shout.
You stood with them and smiled-- you looked so cool

One day I watched and stalked you to your house
And swiped your key under the welcome mat
I hid and stayed as quiet as a mouse
But you found me and beat me like a rat

My friend all say that I should quit my ways
