The ones with the best smile know how to fake it.

This feeling in sinking in.
My stomach starts to twist in agony & my blood hits my ears like drums.
My fingers tremble in the partially moon lit night, searching for your warm embrace.
My fingers find nothing but the brittle bones of what once was.
Tears run down my faces & I force myself to hide it all.
My painfully fake smile returns.
My pathetic attempt at laughter momentarily takes away any doubts that I'm anything but happy.
