Cheesy Infatuation Poem

It was a long life to live for a fly
But for anything else,
It was too young to die.

I look at the time that I have spent
Focusing on the words you haven't said
And the words you never meant

I released my obsession
And I bestowed upon you
My body as your possession.

This degradation as a whole
Was peaceful for my mind
But binding for my soul.

I've seen you at a passing glance
I forget to say hi
And I miss my chance.

In the end it's tit for tat
Time will let me know
And that is that

I might never know how it ends
But for right now,
I'd much rather be with my friends.
