My Home
The yelling, the screaming;
The slamming of doors.
The filth and the untidiness,
The clothes all over the floor.
The hatred, the loathing,
The absence of love.
The things that need fixing;
The doorknob falling off.
The broken and unusable,
The forever filling sink.
The partying and spending,
The love of the drink.
The nothing, the everything;
The house I call my home.
The tears and the crying,
It's all I've ever known.
"This marks the start of my new life."
The slamming of doors.
The filth and the untidiness,
The clothes all over the floor.
The hatred, the loathing,
The absence of love.
The things that need fixing;
The doorknob falling off.
The broken and unusable,
The forever filling sink.
The partying and spending,
The love of the drink.
The nothing, the everything;
The house I call my home.
The tears and the crying,
It's all I've ever known.
"This marks the start of my new life."
