Bumper sticker

Sitting behind the drivers wheel,
At a stop light
I look at the car in front of me
There are little stick figures of 4 children, 2 parents and 3 big dogs.
On the bumper sticker there is Obama’s slogan
I see glasses on her face through the side mirror.
There are three car seats that I can see and a baseball bat in the trunk.
I can see a Disney movie playing through the glass,
As I role down the window I smell the fast food
And hear the country radio station playing.
The drivers hand is out the window with a cigarette in hand and painted nails.
Just then it occurred to me that I have never met this woman.
But I know her bad habit, that she has a large family, she cares about what she looks like, she’s a democrat, a busy mom with kids in sports, loves her pets, can’t see very well, lets her children know that dreams are possible though Disney and is in a relationship. I know her music taste and her food habits.
I know more about her,
This nameless woman than she ever will of me.
