Clementine

oh my darling, oh my darling

The water was brim and brine
a suit she wore made her body look fine
with the dark blue surrounding her she only saw red
and for once another night, she couldn't sleep in her bed

oh my darling, clementine

Molly, she was her mother's little doll
but she never played very well
Molly, she was scared of the water
and so mother sent her to her father

thou art lost and gone forever

The house was old and creaky, but she knew it from before
before, she didn't know what, but she would find out to win the war
the war within her body, the sights, and night terrors she was given
hopefully then, Clementine would be forgiven

dreadful sorry, clementine

Molly, she was Jared's little doll
but he dropped her in the pool
Molly, she was scared of the water
and so she sent herself to her father

oh my darling, oh my darling

A mystery she threw her fate into
like the waters at the bottom of the canyon, on they brew
for she asked, and she wandered, and she looked for an answer
her past was but a blurr

oh my darling, clementine

Molly, she was her father's little doll
but he dropped her for his wife
Molly, she couldn't walk in a straight line
and so she sent herself to Clementine

thou art lost and gone forever
.

And so she found the little boy, that had saved her past life
and the love she denied, who she cut like a white hot knife
she hoped she could save what was cede
maybe then she would no longer bleed

dreadful sorry, clementine

And so Clementine was with her lover
and her lover with his Clementine
for they were no longer lost or gone forever
no need to be sorry, Clementine.
