Wait for Letters

I could write you a letter
It would not make it any better
Write my words a hundred times
But it still wouldn't sound right

So many sheets later
This is what you'll wait for
I'm still using the same pen
Again

Really there's nothing better than to hear your voice
Because pieces of paper can't provide a tone
I guess you're on mute or there's too much noise
I wonder if you're home

I was trying to change
But it was already too late
So I'll live with this regret
And that's all I'll get

My life rearranged
Strange how everyone feels the same
But me
And there's so much hate...

Build up
Tell me if I'm angry or sad
I cry, I can't be tough
But then I'll be mad
