When you left me so sudden,
I became a bomb,
waiting to explode.

Everyone around me,
trying to get me to defuse,
but they did not understand.
I was ready to explode.

An explosion so small,
it would not harm a single creature.
I was ready to meet my end.

Suddenly over the horizon,
where the sun was setting,
the marvelous colors of the end
you appeared.

The sun began to rise,
as you approached me
your lovely site
stopped me from my countdown

You begin to talk to me,
your words confusing
but I do not care.
You are here.

As I try to decipher what you are saying,
I wonder if it's still pointless
should I just end it all now
or see what you have to say?

I begin to countdown again,
slower this time.
Listening to everything you have to say.

I hand you the switch,
letting you decide my fate for me.
