Forget-Me-Not

Here in my soliloquy,
Where I sit sadly by the window,
I think and talk to myself deeply
Of a blue myosotis flower
Just by the elysian river,
Where children play, and two lovers meet.

I see the small flower as it blossoms
next to the ancient trees that pliant.
I view it as the sun slowly
emanated out of the blue
and greeted me a tiny cordial wave.

A curl in my lips urged me to smile
as a gentle breeze blew
into my window, and into my life.
It is such a paradisaical feeling...
as I let it set my soul free.

The sorrow my heart before beguiles,
is now halted by the hope the myosotis
have given me.

My eye lids closed voluntarily
as I let the somnolent air sink unto me.

This is made especially for my friend, Pop Goes The Secret, who may I tell you is a brilliant writer. :) This, too, is for Father's Day. Happy Father's Day, dad!!! :)))
