He loved to play his guitar.

Dustin would sing Green Day’s ‘Time of Your Life’ on the phone but his voice would always crack.

He would have been a senior in 2012.

Monday 13, 2011 Dustin, his brother, and his friend were on their way to summer school at 9 a.m.

The car went off the road, struck a road sign, drove through a ditch and hit a fence.

His brother and friend escaped with barley any damage to them.

The fence post went through the windshield and into his eye.

He was rushed to the hospital which was several miles away.

They couldn’t operate on him because he was a minor.

The chances of him living were looking grim.

He was put on life support until his parents could get there.

At exactly 5 p.m. he died.

Dustin was only 17 years old.

He saved me from being beaten up.

He stuck up for me.

He was my best friend, and now he’s my guardian angel.
