A Broken Heart

In a world of darkness,
one that I know well,
Lies a sad heart,
which was broken so well.
As broken as a sprit,
lost of all hope,
as a life destroyed,
in a single blow.

But is you look closer,
you'll be sure to find
A pure rose of crystal,
Hidden deep inside.

You can put it in the sun,
And it will shine,
You can put it in the dark,
And it will still shine,
You can destroy it,
And the pieces will still shine.

What ever you do,
it will still shine,
Because it has hope that,
Someday it will be fixed,
and will shine for ever more
