I Once Looked at a Duck

I once looked at a duck.
It looked back at me.
I asked it it's name.
It said "Quack!"
To which my response was,
"That's rather peculiar."
It stared at me.
I stared at it.
Three hours passed.
Night had begun to fall.
I blinked.
