Glass Houses

We are making fools of ourselves.
This is just as bad (or even worse)
As throwing stones at glass houses.
But we couldn't, no, we can’t leave.

Submit, we're hard headed,
We were born just to rebel it.
This is just as severe, severe
As breaking bones that you didn't know.
You had.

A pebble is nothing until it makes ripples in the water
A father is none, until he has a daughter.
Nothing is anything, anything at all.
Until we all grow up, and ignore the signs.

This is just as bad (in fact it couldn't get worse)
As throwing stones at glass houses,
Making men into mice.

But how could you, could you.
Expect us not to?

We'll break bones, you didn't know you had.
If you give us your hand we'll be more than glad.
To shatter the ring, with the diamonds set in.

Because this is how learning truly begins.
