Can I tell you a story?
One that will bring you to tears?
The story of my tragic 16 years.
A story of the ridicule that no one desserves
The story of the people who get on my nerves
It's the story of the child who was left in the dark
And at the age of 7 tried to kill herself at the park
By strangling herself behind a far away tree
So no one can stop her, to leave her be

If you think you can continue this story, then please move along
Because when the girl was 11 the lies started to play like a song
Other children would tease her for her looks
While the rest liked her for her love of books
Children would tease because of her personality
While she just thought being nice was more than a formality
They poked fun at her love of rock music
The fact that she didn't listen to rap made them sick

The girl didn't know much about love or happiness
She had a few friends that she would miss
She wallowed in self pity until she was 15
When she fell in love with a handsome stranger who was at the time 16
They admired each other from afar
So everyday she wished upon a star
"I wish to see him today
Then maybe the bad thoughts will go away"
But then one day she realized
"Maybe I didn't look the same in his eyes"

So she locked all of her hopes and dreams away
Hoping one day, the people she knew will say
"I remember that girl, she was so sweet
Maybe one day you will be lucky to meet
A girl like her who is able to smile
Even when her day was terrible and vile"
That's how she wanted to be remembered

One that will bring you to tears?
It's the story of the joy she found in her tragic 16 years
She has found a form of love in art like story writing, painting and music
She has a natural talent and she knows how to use it
This girl was able to find out some form of love
Thanks to that she was able to rise above
All the names and ridicule
Making her foes into her own personal fools
Here this girl is, prouder than ever
To be able to bring the people she loves together
