There is No Escape

Even on a cloudy day
I begin to make my way
Past all the hate 
This city keeps locked in it's gate
I stare at the walls
They would be my downfall
Keeping me from my dream
Forcing things to seem serene
But it's all a lie 
That I can try to to defy
But it'll never work
Because here, there is no escape
