LIES

You told me lies after lies,
the worst part is I believed them.
I wanted to know truth,
but was fed lies.
I trusted you,
and everything you said.
I wanted to believe you again,
but all I can see is more lies.
People constantly warned,
saying you were bad and unworthy.
I didn't believe them,
I believed you,
and now look where I am.
Why try to believe,
when I know it's lies.
So here we are,
and I'm alone.
I'm happier this way,
and this way it will stay.
At least until,
until I find someone who won't,
LIE at all.
