What does it take to make you see reason?
Cause I'm not sure how much more I can explain.
Feeling like a prisoner convicted of high treason,
but the guilty heart lies far from the blame!

Can't you see, I'm only lying..
Cause that's all a Monster knows to do.
Don't worry, I won't be crying..
It's not like you ripped my soul in two!

Someday – I might – Find my Salvation
not before the madness takes over.
I'll say – goodbye – to your damnation
maybe then I'll find closure..

I don't want to waste my mind on these pretensions
cause I know well enough they're only lies.
If they had proof, why did they fail to mention?
Seems they should work harder on their disguise.

Can't you see, I'm abusing..
Cause the truth hurts more then they can take.
That's why I'm always losing..
Telling the truth has been my worst mistake!

Don't waste – Your time – Trying to change me.
The madness has taken over..
Just know – In Time – You'll have to come clean
That's the day I'll find closure.
