Drop Dead Gorgeous

She's drop dead gorgeous,
It takes pride
To walk before us.

Her eyes shine a dull grey,
But watch closely
They have so much to say.

Cracked lips form her words,
Yet they still
Deliver the Melodious chords.

Wired strands of faded hair,
Frame her face
Giving her a beauty so fair.

She is alot to take in,
Don't turn away
She's still a person either large or thin.

She's drop dead gorgeous,
It takes pride
To walk before us.

This poem was inspired by reading comments on a current article where some people within it were commenting on someone's size.

Being big myself, it got to me and I just wanted to show you all, through the words of a poem that no one is perfect. No matter what we look like, there is still a person beneath the looks and if you put them down, that person won't shine for who they truely are.

This is a very touchy subject for me as it is because of those narrow minded people that I am so closed up today...

...but I thank them, for without the pain they caused me, I would not have been able to come through stronger and to show them I am a person too.
