Happiness Created

We saw the world with lowered eyes,
Fell in tune with the dying trees and plants,
I never want to be like him
(Though I will never admit it)
Hold onto my hand -
and we'll be left alone together.
When the time decides to darken,
And the liars become deceased,
We'll be old and a bit delusional,
But we'll be a bit happier.

We go to sleep
in the creases of day,
Left the sun to become depressed,
The moon to lay with it's hot fired stars.
Link our arms together,
Ready for all our choices to blow up in our faces,
We'll be the bits of rubble,
Falling from the sky
From the world's ending explosion.

Bigger than year 1999,
And the Milky Way,
Ghosts of nostolgia,
Bathing the bittersweet feelings of it.
Victory for kids like us,
With nothing better to do than to fall in love,
We're becoming adults
(But we'll never admit it)
With the stains of young,
Always present with us.
