Depression

Depression is a dark, lonely hole
Dug deep, made dim by some inner mole
Family and friends were once all there
But the fabric of life began to tear
In the hole all day you sit
Self hatred and loathing dug this pit
With help from family and from friends
The pain and pity can come to an end
The sun now shines in a hole once deep
No need for sadness, no time to weep
The path to happiness is not far away
You can make it, you don't need to stay.
