Simply Nothing

She holds her head softly
Shoulders shaking as she cries
She can’t keep up this act
Can’t keep telling lies
Can’t say she’s happy, or just play good
Can’t say it’s such a surprise
That she’s so misunderstood
It’s all a lie that must come true
But she stops for a second
To say, “I Love You.”
Puffy eyes and face all red
For there is nothing else that can be said
