Down Fall

Like a bird,
I yearn to fly.
Fly away from this place.
But I fear my wings will brake,
And throw me back into the mouth of the snake.
A noose,
The scenery tightens.
The suffocation sets in.
The buildings close around me.
My vision starts to blur.
Dizziness plagues my mind,
Nausea,
My stomach turns.
My breath hitches,
My lungs turn to ash.
This is it.
My down fall.
My last breath.
