Burning Tattoo

I can make the flame dance,
With one white wisp of breath.
And my bright beam will glow,
And consume me in death.

So a light little tingle,
Will begin in my palm.
As my hand hovers over,
The flame burning so calm.

Numbing and melting,
Till my heart is on fire.
It has spread through my body,
Can the pain go much higher?

My pale is now crimson.
My skin's starting to boil.
And as much as I loved it,
I was forced to recoil.

Embers so orange,
And flame tipped with blue.
My skin is now scarred,
With my flaming tattoo.
