Awkward Appearance

They yell and they scream,
They pretend their not mean.

You lie in your bed,
as they pick at the thread.

Their watching carefully for your mistakes,
you feel unwanted, possiably unsafe.

"Its not that bad, but you can do better."
Their words are like rips in a sweater.

They kiss you goodnight, They turn off the light,
and while they fight,
you die a little more each night.
