Kingdom

Ravens flock the iron gates
For inside their prize awaits
Not to hunt or prey or eat
Their prize is fear with skin and meat

In this castle cowards dwell
These royal walls to them a shell
While others die, noble, proud
The cowards die without a sound

In this graveyard her bones are crying
All the while he’s denying
Claiming she’s his soul
‘Liar’ screams the raw,
The bleeding bullet hole

She wears a crown of polished gold
But she feels dirty, she feels sold
No matter how many jewels and tales of power
She’s alone inside this rotting tower
