Greed runs the world.

I'm a philosopher, mixed with being a prophet
Why do we take from the poor, but give to who got it
then go and judge success, by the size of our wallets
We don't make our lives, our lives were allotted
Chosen by the our family tree and the size of their pockets
Regardless of the brain held behind their eye sockets
We say we're freed, yet we live off greed
The power of the dollar,a lesson needed to succeed
Yet they tell us we can be whatever we believe
So our mind starts running, it starts to conceive
And we think we can be what we see or what we read
So we beg and we plead, that this is what we need
to exceed limitations, that are holding us back
Yet we take in the lies, and ignore all the facts
Food for thought, But many of you consider it a snack
Not taking it in even though that is something that we lack
Every new generation is moving back to be exact
Popularity over clarity makes you leader of the pack
Something to look up to, though we are all equal
We need to make the best of our life, there aint no sequel
Instead of living evil, with fake smiles so see through
Sooner or later, fuck it, they might make life illegal
