The Blonde Soldier

She was beautiful
Her hair golden as the sun
and her eyes were as blue as the sea
I was in awe at her glimpse.

She would appear every morning,
Sometimes in casual, sometimes in uniform.
She would greet everyone with a smile,
With an Upright attitude of course.

She came up to me occasionally,
I was shy.... I wouldn't talk much.
She would tell me stories of her family
Of her sister, how she frustrates her.

She would always be happy,
Being greeted by friends allover.
My friends would hug her,
She would come to hug me sometimes.

I was unlike her,
I didn't care for friends.
I wanted solitude,
Though I admired her.

Every time I saw her
I wanted to say something nice
Something that would bring her attention
I was too afraid.

I would've liked to say marvelous things,
Complimenting her on her appearance and her personality.
Even to this day I wish I could have.
I had left the place where we met.

I wish I could have seen
Her Eyes again
Her Hair again
HER AGAIN!

I miss the time near the blond soldier........ I wish I had more
