Childhood

I miss that day,
when we were all carefree.
We could go and play,
and bet that we could climb that tree.
Now it's time for class,
and studying for the big test.
We're stuck worrying if we pass,
and we're labeled as a hormonal pest.
We're stuck thinking about school,
and the latest trends.
We have to worry about being cool,
and who we should have as friends.
Parents say we'll miss all this,
but frankly, I'm done with all this craziness.
