Brain Pain

there's a pounding in my head
as i blindly crawl into bed
The pain came on so fast,
but i have a feeling it's going to last.

It cam from nowhere,
I don't know what has caused this,
nor do i care.
I just want the pain to go away
so i can get on with my day.

It has happened before,
And it'll happen again i''m sure
the meds don't do any good,
i had hoped they would

but instead i lay here in pain
and wish to simply escape
to be away from this misery,
somewhere my thoughts can be free
