My Nightmares
Sometimes I awake at night
With clammy hands and a thudding heart,
Still in the Nightmare's grasp.
The darkness of my room terrifies me further.
I close my eyes and
hide under the covers.
Images seep through my eyelids
The Nightmare is taunting me.
How could my mind be this cruel?
I cry out in fear and frustration.
With clammy hands and a thudding heart,
Still in the Nightmare's grasp.
The darkness of my room terrifies me further.
I close my eyes and
hide under the covers.
Images seep through my eyelids
The Nightmare is taunting me.
How could my mind be this cruel?
I cry out in fear and frustration.
