Loving You

The day I met you,
I never thought you'd be the one.
We talked for a few hours,
and I thought we were done.
But then you came back,
seeming truly interested.
More interested in me,
than me in myself.
But soon enough,
you were pulling on my heart.
First we were friends,
talking about simple things.
Then we like each other,
but wouldn't tell one another.
It seemed like flirting,
but I couldn't tell.
Then one night,
it all came out.
You asked me if we should 'date',
even though we were a thousand miles apart,
but you're always with me,
deep in my heart.
One night we were talking,
and sadly you had to go.
You said you had to go,
and said 'I love you'.
My heart skipped a beat,
as I agreed,
knowing I felt the same,
but yet too stunned to realize it.
You said you were nervous.
I don't know why.
It was sweet,
as you said it was true.
It meant a lot,
since some people lie,
and say 'I love you',
when they know they don't.
But your love is true,
and so is mine,
and that's why every conversation ends with 'I love you'.
I truly do;
Every word you said,
every emoticon kiss,
makes me love you more and more.
But sadly,
I can't hear the words,
or feel the kiss,
but only true love,
can withstand these long distances.
You say I'm special,
which I don't see,
but then again,
I never thought I could love anyone,
as much as I love you.
