The Snowmen

The snowmen had come alive in the still of the night
What they say was quite a sight

Blankets of virgin snow covered the ground
It was so silent, they couldn't hear a sound

The snowmen moved and started to walk
All of the snowmen on the block began to gossip and talk

While the snowmen were having their snowman fun, they saw a rising light
This gave all of the snowmen a terrible fright

The snowmen went back to their original resting places
With sorrowful, droopy looks on their faces

They, however, were grateful for the fun they had
It was a bittersweet moment, they couldn't be mad

The children on the block awoke and ran out their doors
They saw puddles of water and nothing more
