Back

The tall, black haired boy with angel bites had a lump in his
Throat as the shorter, brunette girl stood in front of him,
Tears trying to escape her chocolate brown eyes.
The girl searched the boy’s dark crystal-like blue eyes,
Dying to know why head had left so suddenly
And decided to return six years later.

The boy wanted to tell the girl every little detail
Or secret he kept from her, but he was too afraid
Of what her response would be.
Would she think he’s mentally insane, or just making it all up?
Would she push him away, or embrace him in a long-missed hug?

The girl waited for her best friend to explain everything.
Just the boy’s luck- the first person he runs into when
He came back was the girl he swore to that he’d never leave.
The boy swallowed the lump in his throat, took a deep breath,
And began explaining everything that he never told his best friend.
