A Lovely Nightmare's Epilogue
Still I wonder,
Where I'll be.
When I look up,
And the clouds will be white again.
Still so grey,
Absent of life..
Where did my childhood go?
Buildings rise,
Taller and taller.
This world ever so changing.
I'm going with it,
And heading straight forward into unknown.
Call me weak,
Call me scared,
Damn straight.
Only a fool wouldn't be
Looking up,
I smile..
Walk,
And continue to Walk.
Those clouds once bright,
Are always bright to someone else.
Even though it's not me,
There's still comfort.
So I say again,
"Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the lord my soul to keep.
And If I should die before I wake-"..... Then I've given up.. And....I haven't.
