Anxiety's World

Breezy makes me feel so easy,
Like pumpkin peasy,
She swallows the p i l l s and knows the feeling,
She goes and says something that knocks me down,
I'm around,
Under the bend and into her town

She claws and screams and says to me,
“You're e v e r y t h i n g I've ever dreamed,”
And since the day I walk right in,
She was scared to let it win,
The scars, the lies, it all collides
We mesh together and live like rides

I could count the times we've sighed,
Went at each other with silver knives,
Went for our t h r o a t s to cut us off,
But on top we came out,
Fighting until the rest went soft

You can see the terrors I've screened,
Every picture in my mind a living thing,
And so you hold me close and tight,
For the shames I feel so bright,
Telling me simple l i e s of a world and all it's times,
The ones I would die to see,
And you're the girl I'd like to be apart of me.
