Bones

All I am is bones, no blood
A barely living skeleton
I cannot breathe
My lungs are gone
Stolen heart
My brain
My tongue
My collar screams against my skin
My prison, this shell that holds me in
Marrow weeps
Bone tissue breaks
More than what cartilage can take
It is the ribs that cry for you
You filthy liar, a whole one too
So I resist until the bones
Shatter, frail. I scream, I moan.
So you shall know that I am gone
No longer living skeleton
