Crush Like Sharpies

Sharpies have a message for us.
They come in so many colors,
it is hard to keep track
of even a twelve pack.

Sometimes sharpies smudge
and make it hard to decipher
and even harder to rub off
when you goof up.

Yet somehow everyone needs
a sharpie once in a while.
Whether it's colored or black,
we can never lack their usefullness.

They teach us how to color
in the lines, and they teach
us how to get by. Everyone has had one
or the world wouldn't be the same fun.
