Without Greif

This invisible town is dark and cold
It's where I belong, but I'll never fit in
With monsters so deadly
They fear the world more than I do
But maybe they'll never know
That I'm more afraid of them than I am of the world.

Spare me the guilt
Bury claws into skin
Tougher than it seems, and I don't understand
Deceiving mirrors mixed into a swirl of screaming scars
I hear them, it's crystal clear
But not even an elixir can tame them tonight.

Winking eyes can't satisfy
Wishing is never good enough
But this moment means nothing if you're still in tears,
Now we're suffocated in the middle
I'm still caught in between
And I'm more afraid of them than I am of the world.
