A Writer's Vows

The pen and sword
The vow by my word
My hand is a vessel
To what my mind forms
My ink is my blood
The page my battlefield
Enticing your mind
While I search and I find
What leads me to be
A blacksmith of words
A forger of lyrics
A keeper of emotion
A writer
A poet
A playwright
An author, none the less
And in the end, I vow this
My word is my bond
