The Deer and The Indian

The deer was young without a care
He was little and free and had so much to share
He got seperated from his family because of a bad storm
The rain drifted him away even more
Some of his other family discovered him in the grass
They took him in, but he was in a mass
He had to take care of their young ones and not himself
Which made him sad, but what else?
He found himself, things no one knows
If he tells them, they won't be his foes
So he runs from himself because of fear
If he's discovered, they'll make him dissapear
He's running from his family deciding his brutish fate
They'll shoot him down, that's too much to take
He goes to the Indian girl who's there to heal
She finds his soul and knows what he feels
He discovers himself, but he has to go back
He's still afraid of the family, but the girl never lacks
She's still there til this day, If the deer visits or not
She's watching over him, like you would a clock
But what the deer doesn't know is how much he was there
She found herself and feels aware
Of everything wrong ever done to her
But he makes the pain go away, that's for sure
The deer helps heal her soul as well
He was there when she fell
She hit her head and almost bled to death
He stitched her wounds and never left
She's here to tell his story
They protect each other, there is no worry
They're always there for each other through thick and thin
And once the deer gets older, he'll be free again
They'll run through the valleys together
And be friends forever
