We aren't in a fairytale Version 2

We aren’t in a fairytale

We aren’t in a fairytale,
Where things have a happy ending,
Where princesses have expensive dresses and houses,
In the UK, we have to watch our spending.

There are no evil witches,
Or even good ones too,
So magic can’t be completed,
And wishes can’t come true.

There are no evil baddies,
Like trolls, or things like that,
Or the 7 unconventional,
Dwarves in floppy hats.

There aren’t so many princesses,
As fairytales always make out,
Fairytales are unrealistic,
Warped reality without a doubt.

So never take into account,
What books say to be true,
Because the things that we call fairytales,
Are merely fiction to me and you.
