Liar...

The room is filled with your staring eyes
Your words ring out through the air
Saying you have told no lies
But then your tongue goes black
Rots and falls away
Your voice starts to crack
You thought lying was but child's play
But as your dark and murky words
Twist and wrap around your throat
Never to uncoil
Your forever burden
They creep farther up
And cover your mouth
A simple slip of the tongue
And now you'll go without
Speak the truth and nothing else
Before they send you to Hell
Without even your soul to sell
