Peace by Colour

Purple, black and indigo
Almost a sense of vertigo
As the stars like glitter mark the sky

Orange, Red and Yellow
The sun begins to bellow
Above turns to the hue of robins’ egg

Forest green and earth brown
Look to the clouds as weddings gowns
As the grass and tress embrace protection from the light

Grass grows as tall as small trees
Flowers plucked by honeybees
Colours almost as vibrant as the songs that birds can hum

River calm as daybreak
Weaving to the clear lake
As creatures of the forest come to drink and feed their young

Gray, slate and granite
Rocks hint a tone of pomegranate
As the sun reflects the crystal sands

A perfect piece of quiet
A place without a riot
A place where one can go and rest in peace
