His mothers cremation

Ashes falling down,
Between the giant hearth cracks,
From the cremation.

Tears fall down his cheeks,
He’ll never see her again,
Not ever again.

People dressed in black,
Huddled around the blue vase,
Loudly lamenting.

The house now empty,
His father always working,
And mother now dead.

Tears fall down his cheeks,
All alone with no one,
Wishing he were dead.
