I'm a monster
I should never smile,
Nor listen to my heart.
It is then and and only then,
That my problems do start.
They tell me I'm a monster,
One who should never know joy.
That I will never be their man,
But some stupid boy.
That is if I'm human at all,
Or so they tell me so.
That I have no heart, or even a human's soul.
So leave me in my agony,
tears running down my face.
Knowing that you taught a vile fiend,
What is his true and proper place.
So hurt me with your lies,
And push me away.
Into the dark of night and never the light of day.
Nor listen to my heart.
It is then and and only then,
That my problems do start.
They tell me I'm a monster,
One who should never know joy.
That I will never be their man,
But some stupid boy.
That is if I'm human at all,
Or so they tell me so.
That I have no heart, or even a human's soul.
So leave me in my agony,
tears running down my face.
Knowing that you taught a vile fiend,
What is his true and proper place.
So hurt me with your lies,
And push me away.
Into the dark of night and never the light of day.
