In the garden

Flowers blossom and sway,
turning to look at where in the garden you lay.

The birds start singing when they see you,
from their joy the butterflies around you flew.

The grass around you danced to the bird’s song,
to see you they waited so long.

The sun gave out warm rays to caress your cheek,
and the squirrels came out of their holes to take a peek.

The sweet kittens left their mum and came to play,
in your presence their mum felt safe to let them stay.

For your visit they have waited a while,
But at last you came, an angel in white.
