Halloween

Monsters, and demons, and ghouls are about,
Their frightening posture just making kids shout,
But on this Halloween night in the house,
Not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse,
Until suddenly rotted hands come,
Breaking the floorboards with a silent hum,
Only they hear, not another creature,
When they come out, you cannot miss a feature,
Of the undead monsters all coming outdoors,
The bodies of people all killed in the wars,
Killing the people in numbers so great,
Too bad this was all of their fates,
For once they were all dead,
They came back up as another undead,
Until this beautiful city of gold,
Is filled with people undead and so cold,
This city of war of the undead and not,
Will rage on forever without peace that they sought,
Until the living prevail and the undead are all gone,
The war is not over and we have not won.
